If you’ve ever wondered what Education Otherwise Than In School (EOTIS) can look like — this is it. A group of children planning a Halloween party using resources and some of their own pocket money, ideas and initiative. It wasn’t just play — it was budgeting, maths, communication, problem-solving, regulation and social learning. They decided the theme, the shopping list, the music, and how to share responsibilities. They built confidence, trust and teamwork — without a single worksheet in sight
