Good luck out there, beautiful long-tailed duck formerly known as Hudson! Our guest of a week was released yesterday into the ocean off Long Island at a spot where a flock of other long-tailed ducks had just been seen. He navigated his way past the breakers and was soon back in his element. #freebirdfriday We treated this duck for an intestinal infection and a wing injury, and let him get his strength back in our pool.
