Just before 1:00 AM this morning, the Lexington Fire Department responded to the 3600 block of Tates Creek Road for an apartment fire. Upon arrival, fire crews found a large amount of fire coming from four of the units. The occupants of all four units had self-evacuated; however, two individuals suffered injuries after jumping from a second floor balcony to escape the smoke and fire. Both occupants were transported to a local area hospital with serious and potentially life threatening injuries,
