SAVE THE DATE! Year on year one of the best CHEAPEST days out for kids is the Flamstead Scarecrow Festival. This year it's 17th - 19th Aug 2018. Around 100 residents create incredible scarecrows for you to see. It's a beautiful village in Hertfordshire - a few mins from J9 of the M1 - about 35 mins from Milton Keynes. (Near the location of the Pop up Pumpkin Farm if any of you went last year). AL3 8DE. Easy to park, small miniature train, refreshments, buy a map & voting form - nice pubs ;-) All
