Nov 29, 2024 · I also have a 2020 Gibson "60's original" J-50 which looks like my real 65 J-50, but sounds like a new Gibson. They have some other kind of replica vintage tuners that also look very nice and I think they operate a little better than the WD Kluson replicas.

Dec 23, 2024 · No experience with them but they're basically a 12 string version of an LG-0. Ladder braced. Solid top, hard to say about the sides and back (Gibson did both solid and lam sides and back with no consistency).

If you can go up to 10", the options open up quite a bit, including the aforementioned blackface/silverface Princetons (and Champs), the new (and the vintage) Gibson tube amps, etc .
