Disney and Google are locked in negotiations to renew a contract that would allow YouTube TV customers to stream Disney-owned channels like ABC, ESPN and FX.
YouTube, owned by Google, has removed all ABC affiliates from its live TV service. ABC is owned by the Walt Disney Company, but even local affiliates not owned by Disney — including KSTP — have been pulled from the service.
YouTube TV subscribers were left scrambling for alternate ways to watch college football on Disney’s networks on Saturday. The carriage dispute between Google and Disney wasn’t resolved by the time that games kicked off at noon ET.
