The National Weather Service in Wilmington says that there is still a chance for strong rains and flooding as storms continue to pound Central Ohio.

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 8 a.m. Thursday for all of North Texas, including the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.   There's a slight risk for severe storms across North Texas, with the chance of large hail and gusty winds,

Today is going to be an active weather day if all the ingredients come together. Any strong storm that forms today could produce damaging wind and hail.

Rain chances continue into Friday and Saturday morning. While not every day will be a washout, the likelihood of heavier rain will go up by the end of the week. Rain totals could range from 2 to 5 inches in some locations once this is all said and done.

Likeliness for precipitation today is increasing as chances for snow showers and rain are around 40 percent for the day. Today, there is a chance of snow showers before 11 a.m. and then rain joins the party until 4 p.

For his Hollywood Week performance, he will be performing another original song, “My Last Dying Breath."

If you can hear thunder, you’re likely in range of lightning, which can strike as far away as 25 miles from the associated rainstorm. So if you hear thunder, get under cover. There’s no safe place outside during a thunderstorm so get indoors or inside a vehicle if you hear a rumble.

Severe storms with damaging winds, tornadoes, hail and flooding are all possible Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
