The "Big Bang Theory" spinoff "Stuart Fails to Save the Universe" has officially been greenlit at HBO Max, Variety has learned.
Warner Bros. Discover streamer HBO Max’s first order of business after officially changing its name is to officially order to series The Big Bang Theory spinoff Stuart Fails To Save The Universe starring the mothership series’ Kevin Sussman,
“The Big Bang Theory” may have ended, but it lives on in the form of several spinoffs. Given the success of prequels “Young Sheldon” (2017-2024) and “Georgie & Mandie’s First Marriage” (2024-present), perhaps it’s no surprise that a third “Big Bang Theory” spinoff is coming.
But The Big Bang Theory obviously had a crap-ton of fans; you don’t get to 12 seasons and two spin-offs (the recently concluded Young Sheldon and Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, which has a second season coming) without some ironclad popularity in place.
The Big Bang Theory” universe is growing again. On Wednesday, Warner Bros. Television and Chuck Lorre Productions announced “Stuart Fails to Save the Universe,” a new series coming to HBO Max.
In keeping with the scientific concept that is its namesake, the universe of The Big Bang Theory keeps expanding.
