Months after losing to him at a house show in Cardiff, Wales, Shinsuke Nakamura returned to "WWE SmackDown" to get revenge on United States Champion LA Knight.

He’s remained active on the house show scene, but the last time Shinsuke Nakamura appeared on WWE television was shortly after WrestleMania 40 when he took a late April loss to Sheamus on Raw. But they must want to get Nakamura some exposure before his next match in Japan,

Shinsuke Nakamura returned on WWE SmackDown. LA Knight successfully defended his WWE United States Championship on the November 15th episode of WWE SmackDown, defeating Berto in an open challenge. After the match, Knight was attacked by a returning Nakamura. Nakamura laid out Knight with the Kinshasa.

Nakamura had disappeared from WWE television since April when he was moved back to SmackDown as part of the 2024 WWE Draft. He did, however, work house shows over the summer in the United States, Japan, and Europe. Last month, he lost to Knight during WWE’s tour in England in matches that were for the United States title.

Braun Strowman is back in action. Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman has been absent from WWE programming since the September 30 episode of WWE RAW. There, he defeated Bronson Reed in a Last Monster Standing Match.
