PEORIA -- A Springfield activist said the city is "apprehensive" about a verdict for Sean Grayson. The former Sangamon County Sheriff's deputy standing trial for the 2024 murder of Sonya Massey took the witness stand in his own defense Oct. 27 as the trial entered its second week.
