HOUSTON – If you know his name, you probably know his food. Arnaldo Richards, Owner & Executive Chef of Pico’s, said his legacy isn’t just his food.
Fresh out of the lauded University of Houston Conrad N. Hilton College of Global Hospitality Leadership, Richards and his wife opened the original Picos at 5941 Bellaire Blvd. in 1984.
Considering that Picos is legendary in Houston for its margaritas, an agave plant makes sense. "I always say, I didn't invent the margarita, I just perfected it," laughs Richards.
