New York City Public Schools have until Saturday to reach an agreement with its bus companies before risking service disruptions.

Fifty thousand runners from all over the globe will be at the starting line, and thousands more New Yorkers will come out along the 26.2 mile course to cheer them as they attempt to finish what many consider the most challenging of the seven major marathons.

Queens-native hip-hop icon and Drink Champs host N.O.R.E. — real name Victor Santiago Jr — will run his first marathon Sunday with his Run Champs run crew. The “Oye Mi Canto” rapper, 48, has been eagerly counting down the days to race day on Instagram.

Democrat Zohran Mamdani, independent Andrew Cuomo and Republican Curtis Sliwa have all made promises to reduce crime and make the city safer.

Former MLB pitcher John Rocker ripped New York City as the mayoral election neared and Zohran Mamdani appeared to be the favorite to win.

At least three men, two disguised as construction workers, broke into a New York City home and drove off with a safe and jewels worth more than $3 million, authorities said Tuesday. The daring heist happened on Oct. 16 at about 2:20 p.m. ET near 160th Street and 84th Drive in the Jamaica Hills neighborhood of Queens, police said.
