Verstappen’s taste of Ferrari glory came in the Italian auto manufacturer’s 296 GT3 car at the legendary Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit in Germany. The Dutchman teamed up with British racer Chris Lulham to represent Emil Frey Racing at the four-hour event.
Oscar Piastri hopes his past experiences can help him in the F1 championship as he prepares for the Mexican Grand Prix.
AUSTIN – Max Verstappen continued his late-season charge up the 2025 Formula One drivers’ championship standings with a commanding win at the United States Grand Prix, leading every lap from pole and crossing the line ahead of McLaren’s Lando Norris and Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc.
Currently, Oscar Piastri leads Lando Norris by 14 points. However, Red Bull star and reigning champion Max Verstappen is threatening to take the title away from McLaren. Having trailed by more than 100 points before the summer break, the Dutchman has cut the gap to Piastri to just 40 points after winning three out of the last four races.
