Social media posts mistakenly identified a law enforcement-themed ice cream truck as an Immigration and Customs Enforcement vehicle, leading its owner to fear for his safety.

Despite having a clear message on the outside saying it had nothing to do with law enforcement, harmful rumors were ablaze.

Please be on the lookout for ‘ice cream’ trucks… they ever play music to get people to come outside… this is actually so sick’, wrote a woman in a now-deleted TikTok video
