Sunday's Guardians-Astros game is officially in a rain delay for the time being. The Guardians clinched their spot in the playoffs Thursday and then secured the American League Central crown over the weekend in St. Louis. It's the first calendar year since 1995 in which all three major Cleveland sports teams will play a playoff game.

The Guards finish the year with a 92-69 record and will get a bye to the ALDS, where they will face either the Astros or the Detroit Tigers beginning Saturday.

Sunday’s scheduled regular season finale between the Guardians (92-69) and Houston Astros (88-73) was canceled following a weather delay of three hours and five minutes. The game will not be made up, per the club.
