One person suffered life-threatening injuries following an apparent shooting Friday morning in west Charlotte. Medic said they were responding to calls regarding the incident around 7 a.m. near 3500 Nobles Ave.

Police were called to a shooting Wednesday afternoon on Strive Street in northeast Charlotte. The shooting happened just before 3:30pm at the Ascent at Mallard Creek Road apartments. Police say when they arrived on scene,

A woman was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon at an apartment complex in northwest Charlotte, and Channel 9 confirmed that one person is in custody. The homicide investigation was on Strive Street at the Ascent at Mallard Creek Apartments off of Odell School Road outside the Interstate 485 loop.
