Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco suffered an apparent shoulder injury during the fourth quarter of the team's NFL Week 8 loss to the New York Jets, one of Flacco's former teams, at Paycor Stadium. Medical personnel looked on as Flacco threw passes on the sideline. Backup Jake Browning warmed up.

On Sunday, team legend Nick Mangold suddenly passed away following a battle with illness. The Jets announced that prior to their Week 8 kickoff against the Cincinnati Bengals. Then the Green and White went and did was seemed like the most unlikely thing: The Jets beat the Bengals, 39-38, for their first win of the 2025 season.
The Bengals are 3-5 following the loss. They are arguably the worst defense in the NFL and are now 1-5 without Joe Burrow on the field. Bengals snap count takeaways vs. Jets
Unlike the defensive ends, the starters at linebacker are also the leaders in snaps. Barrett Carter took 100% of defensive snaps once again, while Demetrius Knight took 88%. Knight also led the team in tackles with 12 total. Team captain Logan Wilson played 28% of snaps, which was 20 snaps total. Oren Burks played only one defensive snap.
