The No. 4 Auburn Tigers fell to the hottest team in college baseball as Coastal Carolina took Game 2 in the Super Regional on Saturday afternoon.

The Tigers strike first and lead 1-0 through six innings, but fail to hold on as the Chanticleers rally over the final three frames to eliminate their hosts in the Auburn Regional, 4-1.

After falling to Coastal Carolina in extra innings 7-6 Friday night, Auburn baseball returns to Plainsman Park this afternoon for a chance to extend the super regionals one more game. A Tigers win will result in a winner take all game three on Sunday. If Coastal Carolina wins, it will be their first trip to the College World Series since 2016.
