Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts left the game against the Washington Commanders in the first quarter and was being evaluated for a concussion. Hurts was injured by a tackle from Washington's Frankie Luvu and Bobby Wagner at the end of an 11-yard run to the Washington 21.

Jalen Hurts was ruled out of the Philadelphia Eagles’ game at the Washington Commanders on Sunday with a concussion. Hurts’ head bounced off the ground at the end of one run, and Frankie Luvu hit him in the helmet at the end of another early in the first quarter.
