Ahead of the trade deadline, New England sent safety Kyle Dugger to the Pittsburgh Steelers and defensive end Keion White to the San Francisco 49ers. As a result, the Patriots have four picks in the sixth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. That could give them some ammunition to make some deadline day deals.
Jakobi Meyers, a name that the Patriots had been linked to, was dealt by the Raiders to the Jaguars. And New England did end up sending safety Kyle Dugger to the Steelers and edge rusher Keion White to the 49ers prior to the deadline coming and going.
The Cowboys have been rumored to make a move to address their defense over the past few weeks, and have been linked to players such as Maxx Crosby and Wilson. To that point, NFL insider Jordan Schultz indicated that Dallas has called about Wilson, Trey Hendrickson, and Bradley Chubb:
