Following their 5-2 win Saturday in Game 5 of their Stanley Cup Final rematch against the Oilers, the Panthers have a 3-2 series lead over Edmonton. Florida can clinch its second consecutive title as early as Tuesday, when it plays Game 6 on home ice at Amerant Bank Arena (8 p.m., TNT, truTV, Max).

After four high-flying games in the Stanley Cup Final, the Florida Panthers played their best smothering, dead puck game, throttling the Edmonton Oilers at most every turn in a 5-2 win.

Lundell and the Panthers are on the cusp of winning a second Stanley Cup championship. It’s a big-time moment, a pressure moment. They know the Oilers are going to be fighting to stay alive, much like they did in last year’s Cup Final when they came back from a 3-0 series deficit and forced Game 7.

Sam Bennett, Brad Marchand and Aaron Ekblad are producing big in the postseason and are all set to be free agents on July 1.

The former Bruins captain, acquired by Florida at the NHL trade deadline in March, scored twice, including being credited with the winner, in a 5-2 victory over Edmonton on Saturday night.
