The Citadel looks for a major upset as we continue our college football odds series with a Citadel-Clemson prediction and pick.

The Citadel’s $475,000 is in line with what Clemson’s paid to other in-state FCS programs for making the trip to Death Valley. Greenville-based Furman got $415,000 for a 2022 visit, and Charleston Southern was paid $400,000 for a game last year, The State previously reported.

Ahead of Clemson football hosting The Citadel for the Tigers’ Military Appreciation Day and Senior Day, both head coaches spoke about a special connection they share forged by family.

Now that ACC play is done, all the Clemson Tigers can do is play and wait to see if they can make it to the league title game.
