Tesla voluntarily recalled 2,431 Cybertruck electric pickup trucks on Wednesday due to faulty drive inverters which increase the risk for driver collision in its sixth recall effort this year. The recall applies to all 2024 Cybertruck vehicles manufactured from Nov.

Tesla Inc. recalled the Cybertruck a sixth time since the electric pickup launched a year ago, this time over an issue that could lead drivers to lose propulsion and have to pull over to the side of the road.

Tesla said on Wednesday it was recalling 2,400 Cybertruck pickups in the U.S. because a faulty part could lead to a loss of power and increase the risk of a crash, in its sixth callback of Cybertrucks this year.
