The failed Washington Square project in downtown Tallahassee has left the capital city with an eyesore, and taxpayers on the hook for repairs.

Tiru Chabba, 45, was killed on April 17 on FSU’s campus when a gunman opened fire around the student union, killing two and injuring six others.
