Three projectiles were thrown over the perimeter wall of Russia's consulate in the southern French port city of Marseille on Monday, two of which exploded, Marseille police said. The incendiary devices were thrown into the gardens of the consulate in France's second-largest city by population.

Two French citizens who attacked the Russian Consulate in Moscow on February 24 Marseille, turned out to be researchers at the National Center for Scientific Research of France (CNRS). This is reported by the newspaper La Provence and the BFMTV channel.
