Kyiv's military has joined the ranks of other countries outfitting their forces with the four-legged robotic soldiers.

Scenes that until recently seemed to belong to the world of science fiction are becoming a reality in the war in Ukraine. Alongside the mass use of drones, there are also—quite literally—walking robots entering the battlefield.

The robotic canine assault robots have been shown being lifted in combat areas by drones before going into action against Russian forces.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense shared a video of a robotic war dog being used in the field with a soldier, who was able to take advantage of the device's thermal imaging.
