Minnesota Twins outclassed by AL Central foes in 2025 Gold Glove Awards
The only Twin to win a Gold Glove was not with the team to end the season. The rest of the AL Central had a ton of representation this season.
The 2025 Rawlings Gold Glove Award winners are being unveiled on ESPN. Both leagues have three finalists at each position, including the utility spot, which was awarded for the first time in 2022.
Logan Webb, a Rocklin native, becomes the second pitcher in franchise history to take home the award and the first since 1987.
Royals star Bobby Witt Jr. won his second consecutive Gold Glove at the shortstop position. This season, Witt ranked second among AL shortstops in assists (382) and fielding percentage (.983).
The Brighton graduate is a nominee for an American League Gold Glove award at not one, but two, positions. No player from the Rochester area has ever been awarded a Rawlings National League or AL Gold Glove. The history of the award goes back to 1957. This season's winners from both leagues are announced Nov. 2.
