Saatvik Green Energy has filed a draft red herring prospectus for an IPO to raise ₹1,150 crore, including ₹850 crore from a fresh issue. The company aims to expand its solar module manufacturing capacity and has reported significant growth in profits and revenue for FY24.

Proceeds from the fresh issue will be be used to pay debt, investment in its subsidiary Saatvik Solar Industries, in the form of debt or equity for payment of borrowings, for setting up of a 4 GW solar PV module manufacturing facility in Odisha,

NTPC Green Energy, a renewable energy arm of NTPC, raised Rs 3,960 crore from anchor investors at Rs 108 per share, ahead of its Rs 10,000 crore IPO from November 19-22. Proceeds will repay loans and fund corporate needs.

Foreign Institutions who participated in the anchor round include Capital World, Goldman Sachs, GIC, T.Rowe Price, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Morgan Stanley, Allianz Global, among others.
