TCU’s quarterback room could be suffering a significant loss, as multiple reports indicate that true freshman and former four-star recruit Hauss Hejny will be entering the transfer portal after only one season with the Horned Frogs.

New Oklahoma State QB commit Hauss Hejny was at TCU with Doug Meacham, who was hired earlier this month as the Cowboys' offensive coordinator.

Hejny was the headliner for TCU’s 2024 recruiting class, choosing to stay close to home after leading Aledo to back-to-back 5A state championships.

A native of Aledo, Texas, Hejny participated in the Elite 11 Finals and was invited to the 2024 All-American Bowl. He led Aledo, a Lone Star State power, to consecutive state championships as a junior and senior. He passed for close to 2,800 yards and 27 touchdowns as a senior while adding 1,041 yards rushing.
