Netflix and Shah Rukh Khan are going behind the Bollywood cameras in a “multi-genre” series set for 2025. Set against the backdrop of the Indian film industry, the series “promises an audacious, unabashed, entertaining ride through the adventures of a charming, ambitious outsider navigating the glitzy yet tricky world of Bollywood.”

Netflix is teaming with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment for an untitled series that will mark his son Aryan Khan's directorial debut. The series was unveiled at the streamer's International Showcase on Monday.

Two of Bollywood’s biggest stars, Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan, are teaming up and getting back into business with Netflix. Netflix announced today, November 19, that the father-son duo would executive produce an untitled “Bollywood series” about an outsider breaking into the Hindi film industry.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has announced the directorial debut of his son Aryan Khan. The special untitled Bollywood series is produced by Gauri Khan. He announced the upcoming series which marks a collaboration between Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment on social media.

Aryan Khan, the eldest son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, is set to make his directorial debut with a new streaming series on Netflix. As per a media source the series, will delve into the captivating world of the Hindi film industry not sticking to one particular genre.

The entertainment industry was in massive anticipation for Aryan Khan's debut as a filmmaker. The wait ends as Shah Rukh Khan announced the collaboration with Red Chilies Entertainment and Netflix. The Bollywood series helmed by Aryan Khan will be exclusively streamed on Netflix.

Other stars also praised Aryan Khan. Alia Bhatt said that she “can't wait” for Aryan Khan's show. Ananya Panday wrote she is “excited for you”.
