Several tornado warnings issued Tuesday morning for parts of Evangeline Parish. Damage is reported in Basile at Rhea's Specialty Meats. We are told no one was in the store when the storm caused the damage. We reached out to Evangeline Parish Clerk of Court who says voting is not affected by the storm.

A tornado has hit parts of Basile, injuring three people. The tornado destroyed Rhea’s Specialty Meats, a staple in Basile. Three employees were injured. One suffered from ankle and shoulder injuries.
