Donald Trump has boasted that he is “much better-looking” than Zohran Mamdani, the young Democratic frontrunner for New York City mayor.

At least three men, two of them disguised as construction workers, broke into a New York City home and drove off with a safe and jewelry worth more than $3 million, authorities said Tuesday. The daring heist happened on Oct. 16 at about 2:20 p.m. ET in the Jamaica Hills neighborhood of Queens, police said.

The plans, which seek to rezone parts of Jamaica and Long Island City, came up for votes as an election focused on the city’s housing crisis was nearing its end.

City officials have told the Erie Times-News that nearly $8 million in previously-approved federal grants to the city have been stalled in recent weeks, and Mayor Joe Schember's administration has been unable to reach officials at a number of federal agencies regarding that funding.
