Mexico’s Aeromexico has been named the world’s most on-time airline in 2024. In North America, Delta took the top honor with more than 83% of its flights landing on time. The report comes from Cirium, an aviation analytics company that has been timing and tracking flights for 16 years.

Aeromexico is the most on-time airline in the world, according to a data company that compiled figures for 2024.

Delta Air Lines scored the highest among U.S. carriers despite a computer outage that caused thousands of flight cancellations in July.

On January 2, 2025, aviation analytics company Cirium released its annual report ranking the most punctual airlines in the world. The data is calculated using 600 global sources, the company says, including published schedules, government agencies, civil aviation authorities, airlines, airports and major airline reservation systems.

“The on-time performance numbers are measured over 365 days, not the five days where a specific carrier had an issue,” says Malik, adding that Delta’s on-time performance reached 91% in August.
