Funeral services were held Saturday for the two Virginia Beach police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty one week ago.

The community came together at Rock Church in Kempsville on Saturday to mourn the loss of Officers Cameron Girvin and Christopher Reese.

In a press conference on the investigation into the deaths of Officers Cameron Girvin and Christopher Reese, Chief Paul Neudigate spent time talking about the two men who "paid the ultimate price."

The Virginia Beach community is devastated by the loss of Officers Cameron Girvin and Christopher Reese, but on Saturday, it was a celebration of life. As “Amazing Grace” played, hundreds of people remembered the lives of the two fallen police officers during a service at Rock Church in Virginia Beach.
