One person was seriously hurt in a shooting Friday morning at a west Charlotte apartment complex, and police are investigating.

One person suffered life-threatening injuries following an apparent shooting Friday morning in west Charlotte. Medic said they were responding to calls regarding the incident around 7 a.m. near 3500 Nobles Ave.

Police were called to a shooting Wednesday afternoon on Strive Street in northeast Charlotte. The shooting happened just before 3:30pm at the Ascent at Mallard Creek Road apartments. Police say when they arrived on scene,
