The arrest came after two Democratic lawmakers and their spouses were shot in Minnesota early Saturday, the same day anti-Trump "No Kings' protests were held nationwide.
Demonstrations in McAllen, Midland, Odessa, Austin and elsewhere in Texas were largely peaceful, as some protests went well into the night.

The investigation continues after Texas DPS says a credible threat was made against Texas lawmakers ahead of the "No Kings" protest in Austin. A man has been arrested in connection to the incident.
