A.J. Brown was ruled out for the Week 8 clash with the New York Giants due to a hamstring injury. It's less-than-ideal news for fantasy football players, who already have to deal with bye weeks for Amon-Ra St. Brown, Puka Nacua, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Marvin Harrison Jr. and Brian Thomas Jr.

The Eagles also ruled out cornerback Adoree’ Jackson (concussion) and edge rusher Azeez Ojulari (hamstring). Cornerback Jakorian Bennett (pectoral) will not be activated from injured reserve while wide receiver Darius Cooper (shoulder) is questionable to be added to the active roster.

Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said Friday that Brown (hamstring) does not necessarily need to practice this week in order to play in Sunday's game against the Giants, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
