2025 College Football Playoff schedule: CFP announces dates and kickoff times for all 11 games
The first CFP Rankings of the 2025 season will be revealed Tuesday night, meaning less than five weeks remain until Selection Sunday on Dec. 7 when the full bracket will be set to determine the second 12-team field.
For as much as the Big 12 was hyped as a balanced league before the season, it could end up being a relatively clear-cut race at the top. No. 7 BYU and No. 8 Texas Tech are the top two Big 12 teams in the rankings, and both have wins against the only other ranked Big 12 team (No. 13 Utah).
In fact, according to the NCAA, BYU is tied with three other schools in the West — Arizona, Arizona State and Oregon — for the worst record in the country in “GameDay” contests, as all four are 0-3. Here’s a look back at the Cougars’ three previous “GameDay” contests.

The SEC is home to the only other ranked matchup in Week 11, as No. 3 Texas A&M travels to face No. 19 Missouri. The Tigers are still trying to keep their head above water while the Aggies are trying to protect their status as one of just four remaining undefeated FBS teams.
That game features the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs (7-1) facing off against the Mississippi State Bulldogs (5-4). This matchup will take place in Starkville, Mississippi, at noon ET on ESPN. Finebaum mentioned on "The Matt Barrie Show" that this game is flying under the radar.
