According to real-time traffic site Inrix, the A59 Rice Lane is closed in both directions. There is queueing traffic due to an incident from A5058 North Breeze Hill to Cavendish Drive. The nature of the incident is not currently known. The Liverpool ECHO has contacted Merseyside Police but has yet to receive a comment.
