John Forté, the Grammy-nominated musician, producer, and close collaborator with the influential hip-hop group Fugees, was found dead in his Massachusetts home at 50.

Chilmark, Massachusetts, police said in a statement that there were no signs of foul play or "readily apparent cause of death."
