At a news conference Friday, Baton Rouge Police Chief Thomas Morse Jr. announced that Markel Lee, 17, turned himself in earlier that morning. Lee is now facing multiple serious charges, including first-degree murder, five counts of attempted first-degree murder, and illegal use of a weapon.
