When the WWE's NXT debuts on its new television home the CW Network on Tuesday, it will mark a new era for the brand which has produced countless superstars since its formation in 2010.

NXT started as a way to feature up-and-coming wrestlers that WWE hoped would be its future WrestleMania superstars. Paul “Triple H” Levesque, the current WWE chief content officer, launched NXT in 2012 as a training center to give its athletes real-world reps and gain experience.

NXT makes its move to The CW starting with next Tuesday’s premiere. While speaking with the Chicago Tribune in advance of the episode, Shawn Michaels confirmed that — from a look and physical standpoint — WWE has some changes in store for NXT.
