After the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's (TBI) spoke about the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua activity, local law enforcement are reacting to his statements.

While state leaders are sharing concerns about a “violent” Venezuelan gang reemerging and operating in major Tennessee cities, Knox County Sheriff Tom Spangler said the sheriff’s office’s gang unit does not have any active investigations involving the gang.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - State leaders are warning of a dangerous gang that formed in prisons in Venezuela called Tren de Aragua that has been spotted in all major cities in Tennessee.
