Arizona Diamondbacks All-Star third baseman Eugenio Suárez left Monday's game against the Detroit Tigers after being hit on the hand by a pitch, but he appeared to escape serious injury. After the game, Suárez told reporters that X-rays on his left index finger were negative.
Eugenio Suarez was hit in the hand in Monday's loss to the Tigers, but his X-rays fortunately came back negative.
Suárez left the Diamondbacks' game against the Tigers in the ninth inning Monday after he was hit by a pitch in the hand.
