The New York Knicks' NBA Playoffs run came to an end Saturday night after the Indiana Pacers carried on their remarkable 2025 season with a trip to the NBA Finals, but Knicks fans are already thinking about what the team could look like come the fall.

With the Indiana Pacers securing a Game 6 win against the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Final, that put an end to NBA on TNT.

After losing to the Pacers in six games in the Eastern Conference finals, the Knicks will have all summer to contemplate what went wrong.

The Pacers polished off the New York Knicks on Saturday, winning 125-108 in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals after a third-quarter rally. It will be their first NBA Finals appearance since 2000, back when Reggie Miller and Jalen Rose starred while Larry Bird coached.

"If they go get Al Horford this summer, ... I think (he) would be an unbelievable fit on this Knicks roster." " (...) That's a team that could beat the Pacers next year," suggested Bontemps. "That's a team that'll be in the mix in the East.

Pascal Siakam scored 31 points, Tyrese Haliburton had 21 points and 13 assists, and the Indiana Pacers pulled away for a 125-108 victory over the New York Knicks in Game 6 on Saturday night to reach the NBA Finals for the second time in franchise history.

Unfortunately, some Celtics fans or former players will take solace in the fact that the Knicks fell after defeating them, in classic New York versus Boston rivalry fashion. That includes Celtics legend Paul Pierce, who didn't hold back on X after watching the Knicks go down.
