Steve Kerr on Warriors' place in NBA hierarchy: "That's not realistic"
The Golden State Warriors know exactly where they stand in today’s league hierarchy and that clarity, not denial, is what drives them to keep pushing for one more real shot.
When three of the superstars are out, a defeat against the OKC Thunder was expected. But the backlash for the Warriors’ head coach is not for the 131-94 result, but for not playing the young forward Jonathan Kuminga.
Jonathan Kuminga’s uncertain status deepened after another late scratch, with Steve Kerr’s postgame comments raising fresh questions.
Don't expect the Golden State Warriors to get involved in risky trades this season, as Steve Kerr pushes against it.
The Golden State Warriors entered their matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder last night massively short-handed. They were without the likes of Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and even Jimmy Butler.
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was left disappointed with NBA referees after their loss to the Phoenix Suns.
Kerr's comments don't reflect directly on the Suns or their current regime -- at least when it comes to head coach Jordan Ott. The Warriors' coach was extremely complimentary of Ott ahead of their previous matchup.
Kerr, though, doesn't have much to add on that front. He admitted he's never seen a single Avengers film — and, based on his sarcastic remarks, doesn't plan to anytime soon. "There have only been nine of them, Tom. I'm waiting until there are ten before I start," Kerr deadpanned.
