A Massachusetts man is charged with carrying Molotov cocktails to the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., federal prosecutors said in court documents.

The suspect surrendered to police near the Capitol entrance and allegedly divulged his disturbing plot that also involved Mike Johnson and Scott Bessent.

A person claiming to have a Molotov cocktail and a knife was stopped on the East Plaza outside the U.S. Capitol building on Monday, according to the Capitol police.
