The days will start getting darker sooner when folks set their clocks back on Sunday, Nov. 3. No matter what your opinions on the practice may be, at least this “falling back” of time means we’ll all be treated to an extra hour of sleep.

Daylight saving time in the U.S. and some other countries ends on Nov. 3 at 2 a.m. local time, meaning people will gain an extra hour of sleep. Mornings will be brighter but it will get dark earlier in the evening.

Daylight saving time is almost over, meaning Ohioans can rest assured that earlier sunrises and sunsets are on their way.

Back in 2019, Tennessee passed a law that made Daylight Saving Time the year-round standard time across the state to avoid messing with clocks and people's schedules twice a year.
