A Florida woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing her mom’s identity in order to collect thousands of dollars in hurricane disaster relief, claiming to officials that her youthful looks were simply because of botox.

A woman in Florida is accused of using her mother’s identity to apply for hurricane aid and telling city employees that she looked so much younger because of Botox, according to authorities.

The city employees became suspicious after the woman's face did not match the age mentioned on the application provided.

The 44-year-old woman in Bradenton, Florida, an area which had been affected by hurricanes Helene and Milton, is accused of using her mother’s name and information to submit a claim for almost $8,000.
