As bad as things have gone elsewhere for the Cyclones, the running game has found its footing. Iowa State has averaged at least 4.2 yards per carry over the last four games, reaching a high-water mark of 6.3 against Colorado and being north of 5 against BYU.
The Cyclones will be without multiple starters in the secondary, which should open the door for a big game for TCU’s star receiver.
The Horned Frogs know that the stakes will be high in the final four games of the season, starting with the Cyclones on Saturday.
Spread favorite: TCU (-6.5) Against the spread, TCU is 4-3-1 this year. TCU has two wins ATS (2-2) as a 6.5-point or higher favorite in 2025. Out of eight TCU games so far this season, four have hit the over. Iowa State's record against the spread in 2025 is 3-5-1.
The Iowa State Cyclones will be facing the TCU Horned Frogs in Week 11, and they are going to unfortunately be short-handed on the defensive side of the ball.
Kickoff time has been set for TCU football's road matchup at No. 8 BYU. TCU (6-2, 3-2) will face the Cougars (8-0, 5-0) at 9:15 p.m. Nov. 15 at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.

After another wild weekend of results in the Big 12, there’s a pathway for TCU football to reach the conference title game. If the Horned Frogs (6-2, 3-2) win out, there’s a good shot they’ll land in the Big 12 title game, but the problem is the four remaining teams on the schedule are no pushovers, starting with Iowa State.
TCU returns to action at home against Iowa State this Saturday following a much-needed bye week. The bye week allowed the Horned Frogs to get healthy, recover from the long trip to West Virginia, and, in many ways, just hit the reset button.
